    I would like to install the Eclipse Visual Editor but it appears there are conflicts with MyEclipse due to EMF versions. Is there a recommended workaround?

    I don’t recall the exact conflict, but I think MYEclipse ships a newer EMF then the latest VE stable requires. I think if you force it, it works anyway.
