I’d like to add “Plain filesystem copy of the webapp directory”, this would be enough to cover some (partly obscure) other servers. E.g. WebSphere 3.5…

Victor that is a good idea, thank you for the suggestion.

    PS
Again “Plain filesystem copy of the webapp directory”: it would be very, very helpful, if it could be added more than once to the deployment list, with different targets directories …

    PPS
And even more helpful: if it wouldn’t be so touchy about additional or missing files in the target directory tree.

A bit of an update here: Sun One 8 support will be included in the next MyEclipse release.

I’d actually be interested in learning how we could possibly make our own connectors, if that’s possible. I use MyEclipse with ATG Dynamo and I’d love to be able to start, stop and debug from within the IDE, but I also realize it’s not the most popular app server. Maybe if you guys could focus on providing us with a tool to create our own connectors that’d be awesome.

..Incidentally if anyone knows of a way to ‘rig’ this then I’m all ears.

    Thanks for a great product.

Please add support for JonAS 4.1

Please add support for multiple configurations of existing connectors — a “create new…” for instance. We need to work with multiple domains/configurations simultaneously, and modifying the preferences in order to do so makes it clear that we’re working against the tool. Please prioritize getting the tool to help us work over the addition of new features.

I was surprised that you do not support the current version of JoNas, 4.12.

JoNas 4 support will be coming very shortly. Possible 3.8.2, but if not surely by 3.8.3.

I/We could REALLY use ATG Dynamo. Our developers are evaluating IDE’s and ATG Dynamo connectivity is a MUST for us. We are a big ATG shop. So far we have seen only two do it InteliJ and Gel. I know Eclipse has a plugin but it is older and I don’t think it works with 3.0+.

    Thanks!
