    Hi

I am having the same trouble: My issue is:

    Hi

We have just installed MyEcliipse Blue 8.5. I go to the software tab and select Subclipse 1.6. The wizard pops up showing all the dependencies. I select them all and then a while later the lower right hand side indicates 9 changes to apply. I apply the changes and I always get:

    Bad update sites
Software being installed: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.5 (Profile) 2

    Bad update sites
    com.genuitec.pulse2.client.common.launcher.BadUpdateSiteException
Software being installed: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.5 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000003 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb-578451-1277753294682 2.0.0.0000000003)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse Blue Edition 8.5 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000003 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-0-rb-578451-1277753294682 2.0.0.0000000003) requires ‘org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.svnkit15.feature.group 0.0.0’ but it could not be found

I can’t get the SVN Explorer perspective to install.

Where is the pulse configuration directory?

    madhockeydad,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue. Can you answer below queries to help me investigate this issue –

    1. Can you copy and paste your installation details? Open MyEclipse IDE, from menu options click on MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details
    2. How did you try to add Subclipse 1.6? Have you provided an update site? Can you list out the steps in detail here
    3. Can you send a screenshot of Help > MyEclipse Configuration Center > Software tab.
    4. Have added any other plugin apart from subclipse? If yes, please list the other plugins and also mention the steps to add.

I would recommend you a quick fix using pulse –
    1. Open Pulse. If you don’t have pulse, download the same from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
    2. Login to pulse
    3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown
    4. Select “MyEclipse Blue 8.5” from “My Profiles”
    5. Go to software tab
    6. You can right click on “Subclipse 1.6.x (w/related)” listed under Quick-Add Popular Plug-ins and click on [add to Profile]. This will open a wizard where you can select related software. You can select necessary software. I selected below mentioned –
    a) Subversion JavaHL Native Library Adapter
    b) Subversion Revision Graph
    7. Click on [OK]
    8. This will list managed changes under Pending Changes. Click on [Apply x changes].
    9. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps.
    10. When prompted, please choose to restart your IDE.
Pulse will automatically fix any dependency issues. Let me know how this works for you.

    David,

Thank you for the installation details. I cannot reproduce the above issue. This works fine in ME 8.5 blue. Please see the attached images. Can you do the following. Remove the subclipse 1.6.x plugin which were added earlier and restart your IDE. Next add the subclipse 1.6.x plugin again. Also can you list out if you have any other third party plugins added to your profile. Can you do the following from MyEclipse IDE menu options click on Help > About MyEclipse Blue Edition > Installation Details > Configuration, look under *** System Properties and copy and paste com.genuitec.pulse.client.handshake.id here
