When editing an XML file (XSL stylesheet in this case) and the first edit is made to a file, the view will shift to the beginning of the file (as if pressing Ctrl-Home) and then reshift so the edited line is at the bottom of the viewable area.
I’m not sure I understand… so let me see:
1) You open an xml file
2) you move down to a line, say line 32
3) you make an edit like this: “<user name=”bill”/>”
4) either at the time when you typed the first “<” or when you hit save (e.g. definition of ‘first edit’) your caret bounces BACK to the very top of the file, and then back down to the line you were just editing such that that line is the last visible line in the editor window?Is this correct?

I gave this one a try and replicated the jumping behavior using the steps Riyad described. It’s simply cosmetic, but I’ve entered it as a bug so it can be addressed in a subsequent release. Thanks for reporting it.
