    Hi

I’ve built a basic site but I’m being told the size exceeds the allowed limit.

Why does it and what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

    Adam

Q: are you referring to the 1Mb webapp size limit when using the Send to My Phone feature or is it something else?

    Hi

I believe I understand the reason why I am getting the size issue. I have been saving and linking each ‘page’ as a .mobi project. I have a feeling the .mobi should be the overall project whereas the pages should be .html – is my understanding correct?

    Thanks

When using Send To Phone, run the command on your root design file (.mobi). All other linked design files will automatically be converted to HTML and merged to form a single main HTML file along with css, js and image files. The combined result that makes up your webapp will be zipped and then uploaded to the MobiOne AppSync service. If the webapp’s total size is greater than 1 Mb then then Send To Phone fails with a warning msg. I have only seen a few webapps > 1MB and those were image-heavy user interfaces.

    Hi Wayne

I cleared out the directory leaving only the original project. From there I tried again to send to my phone.

none of the button images have appeared this time, I’m sure it’s something simply I’m doing wrong.

How can I package it up as an app rather than a browsable site?

    Thanks

    Adam
