    Hi!

    Just installed MyEclipse 4.0M2 with Eclipse 3.1 on Linux and get the error seen below when trying to open a JSP file.
    I gladly give you more information if you have any ideas.

    com.genuitec.eclipse.core.GenuitecCoreRTException: Invalid thread state detected on write.

    Works now. I don’t have the slightest idea why as I did not even restart Eclipse.

    Jimisola,

    This issue is caused by installing Eclipse / MyEclipse as one user and then running as a different user on Linux while using our 30-day trial. Once you subscribe, that configuration is supported, but for the trial on Linux, you should really install and run under the same user account to avoid any problems. On the other hand, if it seems to be behaving now and Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > Subscription shows a valid 30-day expiration date you might be “good to go” as is.
