I am upgrading from 5.1 to 6.01 GA, and I installed from the all-in-one bundle on my windows box. All went fine and I can run my existing project. I moved to install subclipse 2.x using the Software Update with
http://subclipse.tigris.org/update_1.2.x
which returned an error:
Buckminster – Subclipse support (Incubation) (0.2.0.r3554) requires plug-in “org.eclipse.buckminster.core”.I then tried to install that by use
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/buckminster/updates
which returned an error:
Buckminster – Subversive support (Incubation) (0.2.0.r6456) requires plug-in “org.eclipse.team.svn.core”.So Subclipse plugin is dependent on the new SVN plugin under development? I must have missed something here, please help.
You’re probably mixing up the SubClipse and Subversive plugins here?
– First install SVN support in some way, only the required components, none of the optionals
– Then install BuckMinster if you need that
– Then add the BuckMinster optional components to your selected SVN plug-in
