No mention of MyEclipse 6.5 exists in the announcements discussion forum.
The release date for 6.5 on the download page for the archived update site is 8/18/2008. It should be 6/18/2008.
The archived update site download is larger than the installer that includes eclipse. That’s pretty confusing since the contents of the archive site are described on the download page.
Is there going to be an installer that doesn’t include eclipse? The minimum download size doubled in this release.

6.5 400MBYes, we have seen 50-60% compression with pack200 but we discontinued use of pack200 compression for this release due to the high cost of processing and QA’ing the release. We have experienced a number of issues with pack200 compression and elected to withdraw support of this feature until we have a better understanding of why it fails.
