Paul_paulParticipantCan someone in support explain what this means?
support-octavioMemberHi stickleback,
It looks like SIM has lost connection with Mobione. Please, consider changing port 9090 to something else. if it doesn’t help, please share the scenario for reproducing it.
Paul_paulParticipantThe errors have reduced to 3 now, I can zip the app up and send it to you it’s not that big less than 3mb.
support-octavioMemberHi stickleback,
Did you try changing the websocket port? Also, have you tried resetting the simulator settings?
If doing this doesn’t work please send us your project and steps to replicate the problem.
Paul_paulParticipantI’m just going to send it to you guys to figure out, all I did was run it in the sim, then inspect elements.
Paul_paulParticipantdid you receive my application?
support-octavioMemberHi stickleback,
We have received your files and started researching, a first look to it didn’t show any error in console log. Can you share your windows version so we can test in the same environment you have?
Paul_paulParticipantwindows 8.1
M1 v 2.6.2
support-michaelKeymaster>The errors have reduced to 3 now
Back in from a few days R&R. A quick look at the error msg indicates an issue loading the google map and cordova api from the appcache.
If you don’t need offline support, e.g., only enable the appcache for a website, then disable it in the project’s startup .mobi file. That should hopefully clear matters.
Paul_paulParticipantThanks, will give it a try.
support-octavioMemberHi stickleback,
Can you share your mobione_mobilewebsimulator_userdata folder so we can investigate and replicate the problem in our side? It is located at <userhomedir>/AppData/Local/Temp
Paul_paulParticipantI would do but this file is 92mb, why so big?
support-michaelKeymaster>I would do but this file is 92mb, why so big?
Hmm! Not sure. Discussing with dev team.
support-octavioMemberHi stickleback,
The dev team suggested to rename
\mobione_mobilewebsimulator_userdata\Default\Application Cache
and
\mobione_mobilewebsimulator_userdata\Default\Cache
foldersIf the problem is still reproduceable w/o these folders – you could remove them from resulting zip file and send it thru wetransfer.com
