Would be nice to be able to associate the Javascript editor with .as

When I associate .as with your javascript editor, on opening an actionscript file i receive a dialog “…Editor could not be initialized”. If I rename the file with a js extention, it opens and color-codes appropriately.

Just curious… What is the status on the Javascript editor? I am writing a lot of javascript and actionscript for a data driven web app and have been wishing the js editor was as nice as the jsp editor…

Then this gets me thinking about a SWF IDE built on Eclipse so I can trash Flash, which is next to useless, except that it compiles SWFs. Anyone want to work on this with me?

What is the status on the Javascript editor?

In short, its totally new for the 3.8 GA release and is quite powerful… the JS editor from the WTP project, has autocomplete and all the goodies.
