    Hello MyEclipse Support Team:

    I am using the following:

    Win 2000
    JDK 1.4.2_02
    Eclipse 2.1.1
    EnterpriseWorkbench 2.6.3

The problem is: Missing javax.activation from the J2EE 1.3 Library.

According to the J2EE 1.3 specification javax.activation should be part of the API. However your J2EE 1.3 Library (eclipse wise) does not include the framework.

This is easy to solve. I am just going to reconfigure the J2EE 1.3 library. However I am really going to apreciate a little bit of flexibility of the J2EE library definition. Let say, it will be nice to define at least several J2EE 1.3 type of library and use on by defauult. For example: J2EE 1.3 Library for JBoss or J2EE 1.3 Library for Weblogic and so on.

    Thanks,
    Stefan

Thanks for pointing out the missing activation capability. I have entered your feedback into our issues tracking system. I expect activation to be included in the next service patch. We are working with IBM team members on the generalization of library sets at the platform level. I’m not sure of the timeframe on this feature.
