Many dtds and schemas are not in the xml catalog.

You should add many popular dts and schemas like:
“-//JBoss//DTD JBOSS 3.2//EN”
“-//JBoss//DTD JBOSSCMP-JDBC 3.2//EN”

because now myeclipse tries to download them on every save.

Good suggestion. Of course the workaround is to download them yourself and add them to the User XML Catalog at Window > Preferneces > MyEclipse > Editors > XML > XML Catalog in the interim.
