We have noticed that if you are using the Java or MyEclipse perspectives and you turn off “Build Auto” and then add a Web Project. Now, use the MyEclipse > Add Struts feature.

The Struts JAR files do not show up as JARs in the Nav view. They are still in the LIB directory, but for some reason, they are not displayed as JARs.

If you turn “Build Auto” back on and perform the steps again, they do show up.

Most likely the auto-mounting feature is tied into the build loop, with auto build turned off, the Eclipse build-cycle is not reacting to new files in the project, so our auto mounter isn’t reacting to them. Same thing happens with exploded deployment, it stops working with autobuild turned off as well.
