    Where exactly is this done? I can’t modify the InitiComponents method.

    You select the panel that represents the label, then in the properties, scroll down to “Layout”, the first property is “Tab Name”.

    I am farily new to Swing. Can you refer me to any good references? And good books?

    The Swing Trail at Sun is pretty good actually. Also the Advanced Swing Series by Gary (forget last name) is great… he goes into a lot of detail.
