    Hi

I was wondering if it is possible to add Library Set for MyEclipse plug-in?
Right now I have a choice between 1.2 and 1.3 with option to disable and manipulate jars for 1.3 set….

I am using J2EE SDK 1.4 from Sun and want to instruct MyEclipse to use 1.4 libs…

Is this possible? If not is it being considered in future releases?

    Thanks
    Amir

    Amir,
There is an open enahancement for us to add the 1.4 Library sets, but in the mean time you can navigate to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse > J2EE > Library Set > 1.3, and remove all the default files and add the 1.4 ones you want to use.

Yes, that is what I did…I removed the 1.3 JARs and added J2EE 1.4 SDK ones

I have set up under Preferences > Java >Build Path > User Libraries
a library that I reffere to as “J2EE 1.4 User Library” to whiich I added all the j2ee libs from the sdk

When you mentioned “open enhancement” does that mean eventually I will be able to specify MyEclispe J2EE library set using User Library as described above?

If so, is this something to expect in 3.8 or in a later releases?

    Thnaks

    Amir,
I thought you were asking us to ship the J2EE 1.4 libs, in which case that is an open enhancement.

As far as library sets are concerned, User Defineable library sets were added to Eclipse 3.0 M8, so if you are using Eclipse 3.0, you already have them and don’t need to use the MyEclipse one.
