I’ve zipped WebSphere servers and tried adding them as binary content.

I get an error saying “Could not package Websphere Please see the error log for details”

Where is the error log? I found logs for admin console and server, but they must not be the right ones. They’re being written to but I don’t see anything related to this issue.

Sorry that you ran into this issue.

Can you please try to close the admin console normally and then check the admin console logs again.
If you can send the latest admin console log will be helpful.?

FYI, I have checked locally to confirm the issue, but trying to import subversion as a binary update site worked for me.

    Thanks

Also, how large is the zip that are you importing?

    It was roughly 300mb.

Jed reached out to help me figure it out. Rather than zipping the contents of the install dir directly, I had been zipping a parent directory. Once I zipped the server so that there wasn’t an extra dir to go through to reach the server files themselves, SDC accepted the library without issue.

Glad that you are able to continue with binary update site import.

    Thanks
