I have just joined a rather complex MyFaces project with over a dozen developers and would like to add JSF capabilities to my personal MyEclipse project without affecting other developers. Part of the problem is that the MyEclipse > Add JSF Capabilities… menu item is disabled.

So my question is really two fold:
    1) How can I enable the menu item to add JSF Capabilities to an existing project?
    and
    2) What affect will this have on the structure, if any, of a preexisting project within which I am not allowed to change the structure?

    Thanks,
    David

I think you have to “Add WebProject Cabilities” first. As to the other questions, I’m also anxious to hear the answers!
