    Jim,

I cannot reproduce this issue at my end. I am able to install spring plugin from configuration center in dashboard.

I would recommend you a quick fix using pulse. Please follow below mentioned steps –
    1. Open Pulse. If you don’t have pulse, download from http://www.poweredbypulse.com
    2. Login to pulse
    3. Select “Eclipse – Galileo” realm from top left hand corner dropdown(This is in case you are using ME 8.5 else choose relevant realm)
    4. Select “MyEclipse 8.5” from “My Profiles”
    5. Right click on “MyEclipse 8.5” and click on [re-install and run]
    6. This will open a wizard which will guide you through the rest of the steps
Now try to install Spring plugin again.
Let me know how this works for you.

    Jim,

Did the install fail immediately (like within 30 seconds) or did it fail after some time? You could also simply try to install again, these errors look like they may have been caused due to network and connectivity issues; if not, please follow Ram’s suggested steps.

    Followed Ram’s directions

It appears that there is some kind of problem with a catalog file somewhere?

I have since re-installed 8.5 (pro) from the 64-bit Linux all-in-one installer after wiping out my previous installation.

I was able to reinstall and run the profile this time from pulse.

However, I’m still getting the original message when I try to install AJDT or MyEclipse for Spring plugin – can’t find osgi, mylyn, etc.

On my Mac I don’t have this problem and I notice a differenece in the download page – I have the # bytes to download on Mac, but not on Linux

    Jim,

What license are you using – professional / Spring? If you are using professional license, do not add MyEclipse for Spring plugin. Please refer – http://myeclipseide.com/module-htmlpages-display-pid-1.html
