    Greetings,
I am trying to use the CVS plug in for eclipse. When I type in all the information I get the following error message:

    Title – Unable to Validate

    Message
Error validating location: “CVSNT reposotory ‘:pserver:jsulman@r6ntdpra1:/appsrc’ is configured to use a repository prefix. However, CVSNT does not always properly communicate rescource paths in th is mode resulting in the failure of some specialized Eclipse CVS operations. The use of a repository prefix should be disabled if the full functionality of the eclipse CVS client is desired.”

It looks like everything is working but I do not like to take any chances with version control.

Has any body seen this problem before?

    Thank You in advance

Having same problem here. Also, nothing shows under HEAD. Can view checked out projects in Java Perspective though.

    Thanks,

I used to have the same problem. I have solved this problem by next solution:

In CVSNT Control Panel select Compatibility tab and check both options:

    — ‘Respond as cvs 1.11.2 to version request’
    — ‘Emulate -n checkout bug’

Then Apply this settings and restart service.
