Hi,

I am a subscriber using MyEclipse 5.0.1GA and trying to Hibernate reverse engineer a table in a MySQL database. When I reach the last step of the wizard, the progress window pops up with:
“Operation in progress…”
Building configuration, then “Finding tables in dbname.null” and then an error:
An internal error occured during: “Generatic Artifacts”.
with just the “OK” button “Details>>>” button is disables, which makes it really hard to figure out what’s going on…

The only clue is the fleeting message “Finding tables in dbname.null” where dbname is the name of the database that I am mapping. The ‘.null’ indicate something’s not right…

Are there any logs I can look at? Where are they?

Please, open Error Log view (Window>Show View>Other>PDE Runtime>Error Log View) and post contents or if it is big send to
support@genuitec.com with subject ATTN: snpe

thank you for pointing out where the logs are. This was all I needed. The account I was connecting to didn’t have priviledges to access the DB metadata. With the right priviledges it works!
