    Hi,

Well, my first app dl’d perfectly; installed quickly, start up screen looks fab!

The icon beamed to my home screen and works great.

Okay, I’m testing on a HTC Desire S and although the content is not absolutley bang on here and ther, it actually looks great 😉

Now, before I go mad and send it off to friends to test for me etc my question is :

Does the builder make one for both IPhone and Andriod?

In the build screen setup it asked to state permissions such as etwork, Contacts and other stuff. Do I have to check all of them? In my mind I only required Network access. Would that be correct?

If it does, oh boy will I be chuffed!

It took just 10 hours from start to finish but I’m sure the learning curve will continue.

Is there a way I can share with Mobione ‘s Community so they could give me some constructive feed back?

BIG Thank you to all advises given.

If you have published a web app it should run on both android and apple devices……….. Just be aware about the different screen sizes as your app will look different on different mobile devices. The auto resize settings will help but its not bullet proof. I tend to build 2 or 3 versions of the app especially for IOS and bundle them as one, so depending if the user is using Iphone 3,4,5 or IPAD it looks good.

    Hope that helps

    Hi,

    Thanks for that,

It doesn’t look ‘bang on’ with my HTC Desire as it does in the simulator; still trying to figure out why.

I suppose unless I can get an IPhone its going to be pretty much guess work.

Using the automatic command for the wigget boxes; not sure if its best to use these or actual sizing?

    Again, thank you

    Hi,

Here’s the thing, the simulator has only Nexus or IPhone sims, is it not possible to get other sim mobile templates.

My problem is whilst the app is fine for IPhone it looks , well, rubbish on HTC Deire S. If I set all sizes to auto presumably they should work correctly.

    One last thing,

In landscape, the app is all over the place, buttons in the wrong place, images too small, can’teven oinch them?

What am I doing wrong here?

    In advance > Thank you

On the off chance that you have distributed a web application it ought to run on both android and apple devices……….. Simply be mindful about the distinctive screen sizes as your application will look changed on changed cell phones. The auto resize settings will help yet its not projectile evidence. I have a tendency to manufacture 2 or 3 adaptations of the application particularly for IOS and pack them as one, so depending if the client is utilizing Iphone 3,4,5 or IPAD it looks great.

    Trust that makes a difference
