G’day,

I’ve noticed that each time I save a JSP that I’m editing (using Ctrl+S) the cursor jumps to the top of the file. Is this behaviour intentional? If so why? If not, is there any chance it could be fixed? This behaviour is incredibly annoying.

This slipped into the 3.8.4 final release and was quickly fixed in one of our followup quickfixes IIRC, you shouldn’t be seeing this behavior. Can you check your MyEclipse version by going to Window > Preferences > MyEclipse?

I’ve also just noticed that I don’t have a MyEclipse update site any longer, so that might explain why I haven’t got the quickfix.

Actually the quickfixes need to be applied manually (not for long, we are going to stabalize on the whole x.x.x versioning here soon). TO grab Quick Fix 2 (it is cummalative, you only need to grab #2) go here:http://www.myeclipseide.com/PNphpBB2+file-viewtopic-t-5881.html

Be sure to follow the instructions to a T, especially the unzipping and restarting with -clean parts (it’s not hard to do, but sometimes people unzip the updates to the wrong location and wonder why it didn’t work).
