Any possibility to get code-complete to work with facelets?

  1. MyEclipse IDE
  2.  >
  3. Java EE Development (EJB, JSP, Struts, XDoclet, etc.)

    Hi,

Is it possible to get a little bit of support for facelets to work? At present facelets development with Myeclipse is like working in stone age, and it is so painful that it sent me searching for alternatives.

I am thinking – facelets’ .xhtml is almost no different from JSF’s .jsp file – so at least code-complete should work. It that a possibility?

    Thanks

    Yee,
It is painful, we appologize. Evaluating facelets support for 5.0 is high on our TODO list because we are focusing improving tools for Struts and JSF developers moving forward. If it’s not in 5.0 it will be in a release soon after. 5.0 required a lot of mundane porting/testing work that eats up a lot of time, but after that it is smoother sailing for adding new features.

I will add your comments to our Facelets issue we use to track user requests.
