The dev team has research this issue a couple of times recently. They concluded the issue is in the android cordova api implementation. Their recommendation is use 20 or less audio players at the most, less is better. They also recommend switching to using the newer audio api directly. The support team has some additional ideas in our queue. But we have been delayed in investigating this at depth to provide working example of how a large number multple audio players might be used in an app. I realize you are blocked waiting on support. The quickest approach is if you have confidence working with the audio api, then work on a custom implementation. In the meanttime michael and I are trying to schedule time to work on this as well.
