The library extension (Java Build path xxx.jar / Java Doc Location /) will not work with system libs. You can input and validate a API Doc, but the URL will not store. The Result Shift F2 will not work on
    J2EE system libs.

We appologize, this is a known problem but for backward compatability reasons and future plans for the Project layout, we haven’t addressed it yet. The workaround for this, for the time being is to create a User Library with the javadoc or source attached. Please keep in mind you may need to adjust your deployment rules so your user libraries (J2EE in this case) are not deployed with your project, as they won’t work in an app server that already provides all those classes.
