Hi All..

Since ive succesfully submitted and updated 4 different apps, i will shortly provide answer on how to bypass an .plist error which the Application Loader gives on submission.

If you have to update your app, which many developers would encounter, you will most likely run into an error which says:

“The version number in .plist file needs to be higher than the previous submitted app”

It doesnt matter which version number you gave your intial submission 1,2,3,4, YOU WILL NEED specify a version number larger than 10.x for the update to be accepted by the application loader. This happened to every single of my updates.

eg.
First app: v1.0
Updated app: v10.1

And dont worry, on itunes it will not be displayed as version 10.1, it will be displayed according to your App update profile where you easily specify can v1.1
