Hi,

I wonder when the application.xml will be generated. There is a property under EAR-Properties to update it,
but when will it be generated?

I need to update the

security-role

-element, when I added it to web.xml.

Also the ibm-application-bnd.xml is never generated. What property must I specify to
automatically generate this file for WAS?

DT,
Application.xml should have been generated for you by MyEclipse in your EAR project, there is no ibm-application-bnd.xml file generated, that looks to be a WebSphere specific extension, you will need to do that manually.
