I have 2 J2EE applications that were developed using WebSphere 6.0 and IBM Rational Application Developer IDE (RAD). I’m trying to move these apps over to the MyEclipseBlue IDE. The problem – the only free versions of WebSphere I can find are v6.1 and v7. My apps were developed in v6.0 (through RAD), so when I try to move through the “Enhance RAD Project to Work with MyEclipse”, it asks me for my existing WebSphere v6.0 location. It won’t take v6.1. I can trick it into thinking it’s v6.1 by changing the classpath references. Then the errors go away but the app still won’t run without errors.
I really want to use MyEclipseBlue for this, but I have to either find a free version 6.0 of WebSphere, or find a way to get around this in MyEclipse. Any ideas?
Note – I can select “Fix Automatically using Standard J2EE 1.4 libraries, but it still gives me errors because it needs some WebSphere specific libraries.
    Thanks!

    joyceewy,

We are currently not supporting migration to a different version of WAS. We do plan to support it soon.
    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
