herb200mphParticipantOn Tuesday, January 21 – our development apps were compiling properly and we were able to deploy them on our website for testing on the client-side via UDID device numbers.
Suddenly, that compiling produces development apps that will connect to the device, but fails to install.
The MobiONE output is good with the .cer, private key and provisioning files.
But the app will not load on the devices in the provisioning file.
Anyone got any ideas why WORKING ONE DAY, FAILS THE NEXT is happening.
Cheers.
P.S. The apps load from the MobiONE compiled file – web app tho and not native.
support-michaelKeymasterCheck for an expired provision profile or certificate.
herb200mphParticipantWe have checked and double and triple checked the files.
In fact, we deleted all files and started the process anew with a new CSR, CER, the private key, and the mobile provisioning file.
We have been double-clicking the CER file to get it into the Keychain – but we are a tad foggy on how that Keychain thingy works.
A friend has loaned us an iMac.
Could we have issues with who is logged into the iMac with respect to generating the mobile provisioning file for the CER?
A Mac Mini is in our future methinks.
support-alekseyMemberHi herb,
could you please rename your mobi file or move it to another location (in file system, e.g. just to another folder) and try to do build again.
If the problem persists please report us build number. You may find it in Progress View after the build is done.Cheers!
herb200mphParticipantThanks for the response.
We purchased a Mac Mini and did the certificates and everything on it, then used Betabuilder to create the index page and plist files.
It took a while to sort the issues, but we finally did and the app is now deployed to UDID’s for review.
MobiONE is still the only stand-alone app program that we have seen that is easy to use and does an excellent job.
Cheers.

Glad to hear the issue is resolved. Best wishes for you app(s).
herb200mphParticipantThanks for the follow up.
We have a project for about 120 separate, but very similar apps, and getting MobiONE and the deployment working correctly was, to say the least, very important.
Will MobiONE run on the Windows feature available on the Mac Mini?
We are considering that possibility also.
Anyway, all that aside, thanks for the support and responses from all.

Are you referring to a Windows VM running on a Mac? If yes, yes. Our lead Cordova developer does all his app center development on a mac and tests in a windows VM.
