Amarish KhopkarMemberHi guys,
I have suggested Model Driven Development before and I don’t mean to be redundant. I just saw that myUML is compatible with ArgoUML.
In that case, there is an androMDA plugin to argoUML at http://argouml-andromda.tigris.org/, that might be easy for you guys to integrate into myUML (if myUML is based on ArgoUML).
Again, my apologies if you’re already aware of this.
This integration would really make myUML extremely powerful and a real tool for model driven development for J2EE Architects, especially if it could generate the Spring, hibernate, struts, JSF, web-service files while at the same time adhering to the MyEclipse Web-Project structure so that this would be ‘DYNAMIC’ Model Driven Development, which would be much better than just using AndroMDA with maven.

Riyad KallaMemberAmarish,
Thank you for the link and information. I will send it to the UML team.

If there was had XMI 1.1 export support Myeclipse UML models would have been usable in AndroMDA.
Riyad KallaMemberI spoke with the UML team and full support for AndroMDA is on our road map for a future release. We are going to hopefully address the XMI and AndroMDA requirements in one big change. No ETA for this yet.
Bassem ZohdyMemberare there any updates about this topic
Riyad KallaMemberfzvsyq,
No update at this time. The requests from AndroMDA support fell off our map — our users haven’t been demanding it and instead requested UML2 support which we have delivered an EA1 of, are set to deliver an EA2 very shortly and then a final stable release of the tool shortly after that.
