I have a inhouse jar added to my J2EE Library set. If i try to attach the source there are no errors reported, but when I click a class in the jar to look at the source. The attach source prompt re-appears. If I then take the JAR out of the library set and add it as an external JAR and repeat the process it will attach fine. There is nothing in the log file. This has been replicated on a different machine with the same specification.

Mike are you creating a new User Library or editing the Library Set that ships with MYEclipse?

I am adding a jar to the existing J2EE 1.4 Library set of a Web Project. This was done by adding the jar, using the J2EE library set preferences under the myeclipse option in the window ->preferences option.

Ahh, Mike while this is most likely a bug, those Library Sets are on our TODO list to be converted to User Libraries in a near release. The reason for *our* library sets as opposed to the officie Eclipse 3 platform User Libraries is that we supported them in Eclipse 2.x before User Libraries existed, but now that they are an official part of the paltform, we will convert them over when we get time. In the mean time I think the best workaround for you would be to create your own J2EE 1.4 User Library with Documentation and Source attached that you can add to any project that needs it.
