the-dinnerMemberauto complete not working in MyEclipse 8
support-shaliniMemberthe-dinner,
Have you tried the workaround suggested above? If you are still facing the issue, can you give some information?
1. Can you copy paste your installation details from MyEclipse > Installation Summary > Installation Details?
2. How did you install MyEclipse? using all-in-one installer/pulse or added MyEclipse as a pulgin on top of Eclipse?
3. Are there any errors logged in the log file located at workspace dir > .metadata > .log?

the-dinnerMemberin the log, I see many mistakes
support-shaliniMemberthe-dinner,
Open the .log file, clear the content and save the file. Now, try to code complete and note the errors in the log file.
This will give the errors generated when using content assist.
Also, I would recommend you to go to Windows > Preferences > Java > Editor > Content Assist > Advanced and select Basic Proposals and Other Java Proposals in the top pane. -
