Hi,

As I’ve stated in another thread, I’m finding myself using the XML editor supplied by MyEclipse more and more frequently. Another great addition I think would be if it could auto-generate a DTD or XMLSchema file based upon the contents of an existing XML file. While normally such a file should be created first, practice has shown this does not often happen.

I don’t know about auto-generated, but extracting a DTD or Schema is reasonable. Would this fit the bill?

I think this would probably be sufficient. Although, I’m not sure what the difference is. I think we’re describing the same thing with different terminology.
