After I drag and drop Java classes into the UML class diagram window and run Auto-layout, the classes are spread out in a horizontal layer that extends past the right-most edge of the window, even beyond the point where I can scroll. I cannot select them to move them back into the viewable window if I cannot see or select them. How can I ensure that classes do not disappear past the right edge of the screen?

We recently rolled in some enhancements to the autolayout in 4.1, which version of ME are you using?

    4.0.0
    Build id: 20050829-4.0.0-GA

The text is also blurry when I print out diagrams. Has this been addressed in 4.1?

The printing is the same for 4.1, but you should see improvements in autlayout. Exactly which text is blurry? Are you using Fit-to-page while printing?

The text in the class boxes – all of it looks blurry like it was scaled strangely. I tried fit-to-page printing and regular printing. The fit-to-page shrunk everything to the point of illegibility, and the regular printing only put portions of very large class boxes on a page so it was pretty useless. I’m not sure why the class boxes printed so large, as they could have been shrunk a lot and still look normal size.

I cant see the blurred text, for me its printing pretty clearly. Are you using the default font? The printing size AFAIK is 1-1 with the screen size. I know that makes it a bit difficult to align it so that the diagram isnt cut across the page boundary. Is the landscape orientatation of any use at all?
