I just installed MyEclipse10 for Spring 64-bit cocoa on MacOS lion, and the first thing I tried to do was get updates and install plugins. The update fails with the error

“Pulse has been unable to create a plan for MyEclipse for Spring 10…”

the detail error is:

Bad update sites
com.genuitec.pulse2.client.common.launcher.BadUpdateSiteException
Software being installed: MyEclipse for Spring 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000002 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-2101879-rmb-3161202 2.0.0.0000000002)
Missing requirement: MyEclipse for Spring 10 (Profile) 2.0.0.0000000002 (com.poweredbypulse.profile-2101879-rmb-3161202 2.0.0.0000000002) requires ‘org.eclipse.wb.css.feature.feature.group 0.0.0’ but it could not be found

Because this update fails, I am unable to instal any of the plugins I normally require, making MyEclipse10 useless to me. Is there a workaround for this problem?

Sorry you’re seeing the problem.

Did you try installing any plug-ins, after the update failed? It might be an intermittent problem with the MyEclipse for Spring update site as I couldn’t replicate it on a Mac Lion system. So could you try again and, if it fails, try installing a plug-in?

Do you have colleagues that are also seeing the problem? Is this the first installation of MyEclipse on your system?
