I was just testing the mobile emulator and wanted to test my app against a limited network bandwidth. Today I found out that the current google canary (v39) has such a nice feature regarding bandwidth limitation tests. That’s awesome for development. So I thought I’d see if MyEclipse has it as well. It has, but it’s rather useless. Just speaking my mind here: How on earth am I supposed to know what the speed of Ethernet, WiFi, Cell_2G, Cell_3G, etc are? 🙂 Btw, google chrome has the same. A bandwidth slider would be more helpful.

I rather prefer a slider where I could set the kb/sec or something like this dynamically (including no bandwidth at all) and vary it than to have simple names.
