I’m new to MyEclipse and JSF and I’m trying to get use to both. In the JSF design view I noticed that some components, list outputText, are missing. Why is this? I’m still in the 30 trail stage so will thing like this magically materialize when I purchase a subscription?

The trial is fully functional, so if you do not see these items, they won’t magically materialize with a full subscriptions.

What do you mean by a list outputText. Which JSF taglib are you referring to?

In the design view there is an <h:outputLable…> icon but no <h:outputText…>, why? To you the truth I’m so new to this I could me missing something very obvious.

Ahh ok you are correct, outputText is missing and should be in there. We are working on a lot of underlying designer changes internally so some of the more obvious ones like this have taken a back seat for the moment. The work we are doing is to make the whole structure more flexible going forward.
