Hi,
I have a spring project with birt integrated.
After I upgrade myeclipse 9.0 to 10.6, when I run the tomcat server, several files will be automatically generated in WEB-INF\platform\configuration, these are:org.eclipse.osgi/.manager/*
org.eclipse.core.runtime/.manager/*
org.eclipse.update/.manager/*

I use MyEclipse 10.6 Bling Edition.

The BIRT support in MyEclipse is based on Classic Eclipse BIRT support. The BIRT version in MyEclipse 9.x is 2.6 and in MyEclipse 10.x it is 3.7. The automatic generation of run time config files might be due to some changes in the BIRT 3.7 version.
I suggest you cross post to Eclipse or BIRT forums for better support on this concern.

When I create a new Report Project in ME Bling 10.6 and deploy on ME Tomcat, I do not see the files generated in the location WEB-INF\platform\configuration. Infact the WEB-INF does not consist platform folder. I see the runtime config files being generated for a new report project in ME Bling 9.1.
Can you please create a new report project on ME Bling 10.6 and see if the issue persists to rule out migration issues from 9.0? Also share the version of Tomcat you are working with.
It would be helpful if you can prepare a sample project which exhibits the issue and send it over to us to help us investigate further.
