    Hi,

While working in a perspective (Debug although I suppose it doesn’t matter), I accidentally undocked the lower frame and now it’s a separate window. The problem is that I can’t figure out how to redock it inside the main window. The other perspectives are unaffected.

Could anyone please explain how to do this? I’ve tried everything but the right thing… obviously.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Bill

    seps@wanadoo.es,

    1) Which version of MyEclipse are you working with ?

    2) If you have detached a particular frame , you can right click on the top of the frame and uncheck ‘detached’ to add it to the main window.

Attached is a screenshot for your reference.

    3) You can also reset the perspective to defaults from the menu Window > Reset Perspective.

    4) If the above suggestions do not work, then please attach a screenshot of your workspace for me to understand it better. Here is an FAQ on how to upload attachments to forums : https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/troubleshooting-how-to-upload-attachments-on-forum/

Let me know how this works for you.

    Hi support-swapna,

I’d tried unchecking “detached” but it always put the frame on the right in the main window and not on the bottom where it was. What I didn’t try was, once it was on the right in the main window, drag it to the bottom which worked perfectly.

    Problem solved.

    Thanks for the reply,
    Bill
