When I start up Eclipse with Codemix enabled, I see my Eclipse process along with a org.springframework.ide.vscode.boot.app.BootLanguagServerBootApp
    process as well.

I’m trying to narrow down some performance issues when building maven projects in Eclipse and I’m curious as to what this is used for?

    Thanks

    sthomps,

What base Eclipse install are you using – is it STS4, or have you installed STS4 into Eclipse? I ask because this isn’t one of our CodeMix processes and looks like it’s part of the newer versions of Spring Tool Suite. It would also be strange to have this show only if CodeMix is enabled, quite sure that would be running regardless of CodeMix status, but this is something we can check.

When you say “building Maven projects”, do you mean a maven based build initiated through Eclipse, or them being built by/within the IDE? I’m assuming the latter, but would like to be sure.

It’s Eclipse 4.11.10/2019-03 with STS installed. I couldn’t find anything for Spring and the vscode package made me want to check if this was part of the CodeMix process. Thanks for responding!
