I am a newbie in writing apps. Mobione seems simple enough so I bought this software. I have written an app and now trying to send to my Andriod phone for testing. I followed your example in youtube (which feature apple apps) for building the apps selecting project; build android applications. After I key in my email, which is my google developer account email, the “app center privacy and policy usage approval” is just showing a red cross and no words and the buttons “back”, “next”, “finish” does not allow me to click on it. I can only click “cancel”.

What am I doing wrong? Could you help me?

    Hi jonathannew,

Have you confirming that you have reviewed and approve the AppCenter Privacy and Usage Policies by checking the checkbox? If you don’t see it, expand the window so you can be able to do it and build your app.

Dear Octavio, there is just showing a red cross below this heading “app center privacy and policy usage approval” ; there is no box for me to tick.

When I move the mouse over this red cross, it pops out this info “App Center privacy and policy usage approval required” but it does not allow me to expand the window.

There is definitely a box you need to tick, nothing will work till you do, if it’s not there you might want to try re-installing the software.

Hi stickleback, your comment is really useful as it leads me to the root cause and I would like to thank you for it. I never suspect the cause to be software related but it turns out to be that. My laptop was Win 8 and I now know, as I also browse through Mobione website, that Mobione is not certified for Win 8.

I managed to loan and install on a Win 7 system and the tickbox now appears.

    Thanks mate!

Since most new computers now comes with Win 8, I would like to suggest Mobione developers to make Mobione Win 8 compatible.

I, too, have a laptop with Windows 8 and I successfully use MobiOne on it. The problem you are talking about I encountered as well.

I simply PULLED DOWN THE WINDOW by pressing on the bottom frame and clicking and dragging it down, which magically showed the permission box. Once I checked it, it never asked me to check it again (defaulted to checked).

Try it. You’ll find out the same thing. I have successfully used MobiOne to create an app from concept to deployment on my Windows 8 laptop.

Let me know if this tip works for you.

Yes, it worked! It never occurred to me this window can be resized since it appeared perfectly truncated after the cross symbol on my screen. Thanks to you too Mike.

Its great that the community here is helping on solving the problems, especially for people like me who is not strong in software, but has been persuaded by Mobione demo video which appeared easy to use even for those without programming background to buy this software.
