When i open buildconfig.xml i Myeclipse 2014 the visual xml editor crashes. This file validates i Myeclipse 2013 SR2. It crasches even in new projects. I am still using 2013 because of this issue.

Thanks for reporting this. We have replicated it and will be investigating it.

I was able to clear the issue by opening the buildconfig.xml editor in the xml editor or text editor and clearning the content from the <appLanguage> element as follows. After saving and closing the editor. I was able to open the buildconfig.xml using the buildconfig editor.

Sure if you clear the appLanguage tag you can open the file in the editor.
But even if I set it again through the gui you cannot run the simulator it only says “An internal error occurred during: “Launching Android”.

Really annoying makes it unusable.
