Hi,
I know this issue has been discussed before, but in my searching I could not find the old thread. When editing a JSP things are OK for a while, maybe half an hour of editing, but then it stops letting me cut/copy selected items of text, either with the command key or the menu (they are grayed out). If I look in the “Progress” tab there are 5-20+ entries saying “Updating Outline”. Clicking the red cancel box grays them out, but they all remain in the list. If I wait 10 minutes eventually they go away and I can edit properly

Also, I don’t know if this is related or not, but sometimes the text coloring goes absolutely wonky. All the colors it usually uses are there, but individual characters and random blocks of text spanning parts of tags get colored. No way to fix that other than restarting Eclipse.

I am using 3.8.4 on Eclipse 3.0 on MacOS X 10.3.8 with vmargs set to -Xms356 -Xmx356.

We will investigate this as the “Updating Outlien” issue is a different one…
