Hi all,

I’m trying to use the ER Diagram tool on a DB2 database. The DBA has hidden all the tables and exposes only the views I need. Can I generate a diagram based on the views?

If not, how come?

No you can’t, the reason we don’t support this is because views have no relationships, so if you generated a mapping from them there would be no lines or relationships, just table boxes.
