Hi,

Just trying to install 7.0M1 and I’m getting the following error dialogue from the installer very near the start of the process:

Feature transfer error
Feature: DefaultFeature
Component:
File:
Error: Catastrophic failure

I then have to kill the install process from the Task Manager. I’ve ran an md5 check on the download and it checksums ok. Running on XP Pro SP2 and JDK 1.6.0_07 and installing into location E:\Java. Anyone else getting this problem?

Nevermind. Original download still not installing but I got up and running ok using Pulse instead.

I was going to suggest you to try pulse. Glad you got it to work with pulse.
