I following the steps, but it does’nt work. On the step:

    Validating MyEclipse Profile
Automatically determining the needs of this software.

ended the installation process. The result the posted error message.

I has previeos installed MyEclipse 10.6 with Jrebel (upgraded many times). But the update in the old installation from Rebel 4.7 to 5.x does’nt work with the same error. Ok I deinstall in old insatance JRebel, but I forget to reset the JRebel Tomcat properties. In result Tomcat never starts if the main classes from JRebel does’nt found.

In the next step I install an new MyEclipse and create a new Workspace, check out all my project from SVN. All works fine only I can’t install JRebel in the new installed MyEclipse instance.

    What should I do?

    dkriegel,

Are you behind any firewall / proxy ? If yes, then please setup your firewall / proxy information here – Window > Preferences > General > Network Connections.

If the issue still persists, Can you please uninstall the MyEclipse which is already installed and then perform a clean installation of MyEclipse. For more information on clean installation of MyEclipse, please follow this thread : https://www.genuitec.com/forums/topic/installation-how-do-i-perform-a-clean-myeclipse-install/

Install the JRebel plugin in the newly installed MyEclipse and let us know how it works for you.
