When I tried to install the myeclipse ide 4.1 the following error occured

Can’t launch executable
Could not load jvm.dll

Try re-installing the Java VM or Change the Java VM used by the Application.

Vamsi,

The issue is that the installer can’t find a compatible JVM that it can use to run. You can work around the problem in one of two ways. First, if you don’t mind using MyEclipse 5.0M2 and Eclipse 3.2 then you can download and install those builds and you shouldn’t have the same issue because we bundle a JVM for the installer to use in that release. If you’d rather get MyEclipse 4.1.1 installed with Eclipse 3.1.2 then the workaround in your case would be to download the manual installation zip file and use the instructions here to install it.
