This is a bug I noticed in all MyEclipse versions since the database explorer feature was introduced. I was waiting for the latest release to see if it was fixed before filing this report. The problem is the lack of a drop-down to select a database connection to execute SQL code against. Without this drop-down (which appears fine under Windows) you can’t execute SQL from a saved editor. My configuration is as follows:

    – Mac OS X 10.3.7 (Build 7S215)
    – Eclipse 3.0.1 (Build 200409161125)
(freshly installed for MyEclipse, no other plugins)
    – MyEclipse 3.8.4 (Build 200501171200-3.8.4)
    – Java 1.4.2_05

Let me know if you need more specifics.

I’m checking on this right now with our Mac developer…

    IronDuck,
After researching this it appears to be a Mac/SWT issue. We are going to look further into the issue to see if we can work around it for a later release.
