BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86, WS=win32, NL=en_USIt looks like you installed JDK 1.3.1_01 on your machine (maybe for testing?) either way, it has become the default JDK and now Eclipse is attempting to run itself with it, which won’t work. You can fix this by editing the shortcut you use to start Eclipse, and adding the -vm command line argument and then point at the JDK 1.4+ “javaw.exe” executable like so:
eclipse.exe -vm c:\j2sdk1.4.2_08\bin\javaw.exe -vmargs -Xmx256m
