allenparslowMemberI am no longer able to import (without error) a maven webapp with MyEclipse7.1 (MyEclipse 7.0 pulse upgraded to MyEclipse 7.1 [Build id: 7.1.1-20090310]).
Error observed: An internal error occurred during: “Importing Maven projects”.
This error seems to prevent import of Web Capabilities.
Switching workspaces did not fix the problem.
Work-Around: Import the webapp, tolerate the error message, manually add web capabilities (or don’t upgrade to 7.1, which is what I’d recommend [stay at 7.0]).
Steps to reproduce:
–Create a new project to import later:
# From the menu file/new, select Web Project.
# Select “Add Maven Support”.
# Choose Finish.
# Close project, delete project (don’t delete from file-system).
# Go to the project’s folder
# Delete all files/folders except pom.xml, /WebRoot/, /src/.–Import the existing project:
# Enable all m2 features:
1. From the menu window/preferences, select MyEclipse Enterprise Workbench, and then Maven4MyEclipse.
2. Put a checkmark in Enable all m2eclipse features.
# From the menu File/Import, choose General/Maven Projects
# Import the project created above.Error stack trace:

support-eugeneMemberPlease create a web project with Maven support using MyEclipse wizard and add content from your CVS.
We plan to introduce proper project import in the next releases.
